Library

Charlotte Academy’s library is a labor of love of for many of the school’s dedicated parents. The library boasts over 8,000 books that are part of the Accelerated Reader reading comprehension and assessment program. There are an additional 5,000 books available for students and families to enjoy at school or at home. Networked computers offer the opportunity for research and resources in the library setting.

A weekly library program for students in the Preprimary and Lower Elementary classes promotes reading and a appreciation for all books have to offer. The library is used at all levels for small group instruction and learning, volunteer readers, and focused research. The library is designed to welcome students and families of all ages in fostering a lifelong love of reading.
